TASTING NOTES
Deep and dark ruby colour, indicating the fullness and concentration. The nose reveals fresh aromas of red berried, jams, basil and a hint of vanilla. The wine has a fresh character with a pleasant acidity, which allows this wine to show all its potential and pleasantness. The tannins are medium strong, but do not cover the dynamic core of the wine, rather they pleasantly round it up. The wine has a medium body with a lovely, long and spicy finish.
AGEING
This wine is ready to be enjoyed, but will improve in the bottle for at least 3 more years in our opinion.
FOOD PAIRING
The producer recommends the wine to enjoy with white as well as red meat. We believe that the dishes to which this wine should be served need to be of a stronger character so that the wine would not overpower the.
VINIFICATION
- 15 days maceration.
- Fermentation in stainless steel barrels at 25-28 degrees Celsius.
