Cuvée Princesse is a demi sec white sparkling wine. Despite a slightly higher sugar residue, it preserves freshness and harmony. This sparkling wine was declared Champion of the 1996 International wine-tasting in Ljubljana. Cuvée Princesse sparkling wine is best served chilled at 4 to 6 C with foie gras, gorgonzola or roquefort cheese sauces, and desserts.
They make sparkling wines through the classical method. In 1968, Janez Istenič, M. Sc., bought a vineyard in Bizeljsko, a region well-known for excellent wines. Wine from Bizeljsko has a lovely scent, and pleasant and full taste, with distinct noble acidity, which makes Bizeljsko wines very suitable for sparkling wine production.
