Gourmet rose brut is a brut rose sparkling wine made from free run pinot noir grapes of an excellent year. Pinot noir gives the wine a full flavour and a characteristic base bouquet, while the long fermentation on lees gives it nobleness. The wine is sparkling from an early phase of maturity, which shows with a well-pronounced tertiary aging bouquet. It is best served as an aperitif in sparkling wine flutes, so that we can observe the sparkling bubbles as well as the wine's distinctive orange-red colour. Gourmet rose sparkling wine is best served chilled at 4 to 6 C with veal, fish, shellfish, or young cheese.

They make sparkling wines through the classical method. In 1968, Janez Istenič, M. Sc., bought a vineyard in Bizeljsko, a region well-known for excellent wines. Wine from Bizeljsko has a lovely scent, and pleasant and full taste, with distinct noble acidity, which makes Bizeljsko wines very suitable for sparkling wine production.
